Marine Engine
Analysis on Characteristics of Emission and Combustion
for Marine Engines
According to strengthening environmental regulation throughout industries, the abatement technology has been developing for reduction of air pollutants. In this regard, the IMO(International Maritime Organization) has been strengthening the regulations of major emissions(NOx, SOx and PM) emitted from marine engines. KR has been performing various research project on development of abatement technology for responding emission regulations and providing technical services. Ultimately, KR contribute protection of the marine environment and development of marine industries.
